MEET THE TEAM
Jeramey Anderson is the founder & CEO of J.A.C. He is a native of Moss Point, MS. He received his associate degree in criminal justice from Pearl River Community College and his bachelor's degree in homeland security from Tulane University. He also has over eight years of experience in web design and digital marketing. Jeramey represents Mississippi's 110th House District in the Mississippi Legislature covering Moss Point and Pascagoula. When he won his seat in November of 2013, he became the youngest African American ever elected to Legislature in United States History. Jeramey is also the youngest elected to the Mississippi Legislature.
Since his inauguration on his 22nd birthday, Anderson has appeared on MSNBC. He has been featured in the NAACP magazine February issue. He was a guest on the Tom Joyner morning show with Roland Martin and featured several times on CNN. Anderson appeared in Essence Magazine as a future Presidential Candidate. Anderson was recognized as a “Young Riser” at the 2015 BET Honors by B.E.T. which aired nationally & internationally.
Kalyx McDonald is a Strategic Planning Analyst at J.A.C. and a 2016 graduate from Mississippi Valley State University with a B.S in Computer Science. There, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is a Business Systems Analyst with four years of experience in the Information Technology Industry. She specializes in software integration, along with analysis of business and functional requirements. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude to encourage younger females to gain interest in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics field (STEM). She currently volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham. In her free time, she enjoys watching sci-fi movies, baking, and taking walks with her dog Kenzie.
Antoine Armstrong is a Strategic Planning Analyst at J.A.C. and a 2016 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. He is a Guest Relations Specialist for Singing River Health System as he assists in the efforts of improving and maintaining the patient experience. Antoine has four years of experience working with patients in a healthcare setting, delivering information and processes of healthcare. Also, Antoine is the Chairman of Singing River Health System’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, where he works with leadership to continue to provide a diverse and inclusive workforce. He also serves as Assistant Soccer Coach for the Moss Point School District. He enjoys spending time with his family and working with the youth of his community.
Kapritta Jenkins is a Graphic Designer at J.A.C. She has been a graphic designer and digital content creator for over five years. She began her work as a graphic designer for The Payne Center and Southern Miss Athletics at The University of Southern Mississippi, creating graphics for the university's athletic and recreational teams. She then became a marketing coordinator for GDC Technics. In this position, she created graphics and various marketing materials for the company's social media and corporate networking events. She also served as the spearhead of social media for the first-ever partnership between a major entertainment studio and HBCU, Howard Entertainment. Currently, Kapriatta is a Ph.D. student at Howard University in the Communications, Culture, and Media Studies program with a focus in sports communication. She also teaches Intro to Speech at Howard University.
